Description The Vortex Viper optic milling / optic cuts creates a direct mount feature on your Glock slide. With a direct mount feature, an adapter plate will not be needed to mount your optic. With our Vortex Viper milling, the optic will sit as low as possible on your slide; however, suppressor height sights will still be required to co-witness. This and all of Alpha Dogs slide milling patterns are 100% CNC machined which increases milling accuracy and finish quality. The Vortex Viper optic milling is not available for slim line Glocks (G42, G43, G43X & G48), or MOS models. NOTE: This is only available for Glock slides and is for milling service on a customer supplied slide ONLY. Unless selected as an option above, the milling cost does NOT include slide refinishing. Milled areas will remove the slides coating and expose raw steel which will rust if left untreated.
